Our Nation
How far will the socialist agenda be allowed to go? what is the ultimate goal of the socialist democrats? Will our nation fall apart and pass into history as another failure owing failure to political wrangling designed to pad the power and pockets of the political elitist (the Democratic Party) or will enough people come to an understanding and accept that rampant socialism and government tax and spend will destroy The United States of America? Will we split violently and once again come to physical confrontation? Does the Democratic Party care if the nation splits? Who will pay the price of fixing the debt, and how will it be paid?
It is my opinion that the Democratic Party has put its self in the position to be the greatest enemy The United States has ever know. The Democrats support higher taxes, more spending, forcing citizens to buy products that support the democratic agenda, legalizing illegals to pad future democratic votes, tearing down the successful to pacify the unsuccessful again to pad democratic votes, and demeaning and harassing those who disagree with their destructive agenda.
There are certain aspects of the democratic platform that are good. Educational funding and supporting the opportunity for personal development and advancement is an admirable and functional goal. But even this, the liberals have poisoned with their twisted concept of equal opportunity by insisting on doling out educational opportunity based on minority status, gender, and income status. There are most certainly people in each and every race or ethnic group that could benifit from higher education but the liberals push especially for those persons or groups that the Democratic Party believes it can benefit from. In short, The Democratic Party does nothing for the good of anyone except to further their socialist agenda. Regulating health care for the sake of making it affordable and functional is nothing less than common sense. But again, The Democratic Party has perverted any good effort by interpreting the Interstate Commerce Clause to try to justify their socialist desire to establish control over the citizens with a mandate to buy health insurance or face a tax penalty. The Interstate Commerce Clause empowers Congress to regulate Interstate Commerce but it says nothiong about Congress having the right to mandate commerce. So even with this it is obvious that The Democratic Party does nothing to help anyone except to further their socialist agenda.
Granted, The republican Party has faults but the current state of affairs in this nation is such that any faults of The Republican Party are greatly over shadowed by the outright unconstitutional and detrimental agenda and actions of The Democratic Party.
If the citizens of The United States are forced to buy health insurance then how long before life insurance? how long before a general insurance that encompasses all facets of daily life and covers all persons mandated by federal decree? When will the common citizen be required to make the government
This 4th of July 2011, I reflect on the life I grew up with and I consider where my children and their children will live and what their quality of life will be. I love my country. I will help my neighbor when I can, and I will fight for the rights of my neighbor be he next door or across the country.
